Keesing Media Group appoints Steven Kotok as President North America & Managing Director of its recently acquired Kappa Publishing and Kappa Books.
The Keesing Media Group (“Keesing”), the leading global braintainment business, today announced that it has appointed Steven Kotok as President & Managing Director of its North American activities, effective September 6, 2022. Mr. Kotok will also join the Keesing Senior Management team.
Steven Kotok brings more than 25 years of experience to his new position, serving most recently as President and CEO USA for the Bauer Media Group. He will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction for Keesing in the North American markets and focus on further expanding the company’s footprint since the acquisition of Kappa in March. “We are very pleased Steven has joined our group in this role that is critical to our ongoing transformation and future success as an organization”, said Philip Alberdingk Thijm, Chief Executive Officer at the Keesing Media Group. “As a passionate leader, in our rapidly expanding organization, he is perfectly positioned to drive innovation and advance our company growth strategy”. Mr. Kotok succeeds Despina McNulty who led Kappa’s publishing entities for the last 33 years.
