Keesing is growing rapidly. A small in-house team of experienced software engineers is responsible for the development of the software for Keesing Media Group B.V. The team is responsible for maintenance, management, and extensions to the core platform software, optimization, and automation of business processes. The team oversees a platform that supports the strategic growth of the company.

Platform

All Keesing’s content is produced with the platform software. Keesing publishes from the platform to various channels, including print, online and mobile devices. We work with Microsoft C # .NET, .NET Core, Angular, JavaScript, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, MVC, Microsoft SQL Server, and Adobe InDesign.

Keesing has a growth strategy and is always creating opportunities to expand its business. We are looking for an ambitious software developer to strengthen our core platform team and to design and create beautiful software solutions with; a developer who is pleased to contribute to the development of existing and new business solutions for a growing company. We have a lot of knowledge in-house and spend time on training our people, as well as on expanding our collective knowledge base. Within the responsibilities of core platform development, you will deal with all aspects of the content creation process, both in print and online/mobile.

Knowledge and experience

  • Experience with C # .NET, .NET Core, Angular, MVC, and Entity Framework – latest versions
  • Experience with SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign is a plus, not required
  • Knowledge of C ++ is a plus, not required
  • Test-driven design
  • Familiar with Agile development, Scrum

Your profile

  • Minimum HBO / Bachelor’s degree working and thinking level (software development)
  • Work experience Junior: none – 4 years
  • Team player
  • Affinity with puzzles and braintainment games
  • Analytical ability, inquisitive nature, being able to work systematically and independently, being able to respond flexibly to changing circumstances
  • Good Proficiency of Dutch and English
