To achieve this, we need to innovate our digital puzzle product offerings and attract and retain customers through exceptional user experiences; hence we are growing our digital B2C team and we are seeking a dynamic Technical Architect to play a pivotal role in this exciting phase of growth.

 

What we are looking for

As a Technical Architect for Global E-commerce at Keesing, you will be at the forefront of our digital transformation, contributing to the seamless integration of technical solutions and enhancing our digital B2C and especially e-commerce (Adobe Commerce / Magento2) capabilities. Your responsibilities will focus on technical aspects and ensuring the implementation of right solutions to meet business needs.

 

About the team

You will report to the Head of Digital Products and work closely with product managers, technical managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders from different countries. Your role will bridge the gap between technical feasibility and business requirements.

 

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Conducting thorough analysis of business needs and existing technical landscape to identify areas for improvement and suggest technical solutions.
  • Ensuring scalability, performance, efficiency and security compliance of e-commerce platforms.
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and timely delivery of technical solutions.
  • Providing technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Documenting project lifecycle phases and functional specifications.
  • Monitoring code quality, execution, code efficiency and performance of the deliveries, and suggesting and applying improvements.
  • Driving consensus among stakeholders around technical needs and gaps.
  • Developing detailed technical documentation, including system integrations and API specifications.
  • Collaborating on technical integrations between different platforms connected to our digital B2C landscape.
  • Staying abreast of the latest ecommerce and specifically Adobe Commerce (Magento) trends, features and technology advancements to drive innovation.

 

Your profile/skills

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Informatics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect, with a focus on e-commerce and technical integrations.
  • Possess a deep understanding of e-commerce platforms and best practices, ideally Adobe Commerce (Magento2).
  • Strong proficiency or experience in PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript (or similar stack), and related technologies essential for Adobe Commerce (Magento) development.
  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to perform selective code reviews and code auditing.
  • Experience in writing technical and functional specifications.
