Junior Product Owner

About the position
Keesing is committed to extend its offering over the next years. From puzzles to casual games, aimed at creating Braintainment verticals that increase engagement and monetisation opportunities. For Publishers and other major online platforms where driving customer engagement is key. The digital B-to-B platform is a key asset in realising this strategy.
That’s where you come in, implementing the product vision in developing the product towards its potential and great ambitions. Voicing the needs and opinions of the customer in the Scrum process and prioritizing on what to build next, thereby maximizing the product’s value. In working towards the realization of new functionalities, you gather business requirements and ideas, make visual translations, and translate these into clear and actionable user stories which you prioritize in the product backlog. Besides that, you are the primary point of contact for our local Account Managers and Keesing’s B-to-B customers on the implementation side.
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Develops user stories based on customer issues, prioritizes these stories, and arranges them in the product backlog.
- Initiate scrum meetings to keep the team on course with the product roadmap
- Backlog creation and execution
- Interprets market trends and insights to understand users’ needs. Both B-to-B clients and players
- Supports sales and delivery teams on a day-to-day base on possible bug/incidents and implementations:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local sales teams and key technical partners at client side
What we are looking for?
You are comfortable with changing focus from internal to external, meanwhile aligning all stakeholders around the roadmap towards executing the product vision.
Your profile/skills
- Bachelor or master’s degree, preferably in IT
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Product Owner or 3 years’ experience as a Technical Account Manager with at least one year experience with ‘stretch’ to PO- tasks and responsibilities
- Strong analytical skills
- Effective communicator, able to deal with multiple key stakeholders
- Creative abilities, visual design, concepting
- You have knowledge of and experience with Agile (Scrum)
- You have experience working with JIRA and Confluence
- Pre: Experience with web apps (HTML / JavaScript)
- Pre: Scrum Product Owner training & certificate
