Quality Assurance Engineer – Freelance

Keesing Media Group is the key provider in the puzzle magazine market and has global braintainment ambitions. Playing games and solving puzzles are fun to do at any age. And they’re not just fun —puzzles are good for your brain too. Online games challenge your brain with special puzzles and games to help improve memory and keep you sharp, too. We like to call these games “braintainment”.

Keesing has recently increased its digital activities and has the ambition to grow strongly. As QA Engineer you will be part of Keesing Digital. Keesing Digital is responsible for the digital platforms like; Klubble (B2C) and the white label puzzle platform (B2B).

Job duties and responsibilities

• Review of requirements and specifications
• Create detailed and well-structured test plans, cases and scripts
• Setting up and maintaining a regression test suite
• Execute test plans, cases and scripts
• Analyze and reporting of test results, defects and possible risks to Product Owner and development team

Profile

• 2-3 years of experience with testing web applications
• Bachelor or Master degree
• Certificates (ISTQB or TMap NEXT)
• Experience with: Agile way of working (Scrum/Kanban)
• Experience with exploratory testing is a pre
• Experience with automated testing (Cypress) and API testing is a pre
• Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Structured and independent way of working
• Great communication and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in multiple projects in parallel
• Excellent command of English and Dutch
